遠くシベリアから、約200羽が荒雄川の弁天湖に羽を休めに飛来、3月中旬まで湯治をしている。その美しさを実感。

Approximately 200 birds from far away from Siberia fly to Lake Benten on the Arao River to rest their feathers, and they are being cured until mid-March. Realize its beauty.

紅や黄の木の葉と雄雄しい岩のコントラスト。川底の石々もスッキリ綺麗に見え絶景。

The contrast between the leaves of red and yellow trees and the majestic rocks. The stones on the bottom of the river look neat and beautiful.

昭和32年完成アーチ式ダム。紅葉の山々が荒雄湖に映った眺めは絶景。

Arch dam completed in 1957. The view of the autumnal mountains reflected in Lake Arao is superb.

カルデラ湖。エメラルドグリーンなど幻想的な色彩。紅葉とのコントラストが美しい。

Caldera lake. Fantastic colors such as emerald green. The contrast with the autumn leaves is beautiful.

沢の両側から吹き出る温泉水と蒸気でさながら地獄の有様。30分位で見学できる。

The state of hell is just like the hot spring water and steam that blow out from both sides of the swamp. You can see it in about 30 minutes.

間欠泉。6～15mの熱湯を噴き上げる様は見事。入場料大人300円・年中無休

Geyser. It is wonderful to spout 6 to 15m of boiling water. Admission fee 300 yen for adults, open all year round

ゴンドラで山頂を目指せば、ブナの原生林。山頂の風と新緑が気分をリフレッシュしてくれる。紅葉時期も絶景。

If you aim for the mountaintop with a gondola, you will find a primeval beech forest. The wind on the mountaintop and the fresh green will refresh your mood. The view is also spectacular during the fall foliage season.
